L2TP/IPSec is a widely used legacy VPN Protocol and it supports most operating systems. It is very easy to setup directly on the OS and doesn't require any additinal software installation.
ChromeOS, ChromiumOS or any modified version of ChromiumOS. For any other OS, go to our setup page.

If you haven't already, purchase High Quality Fresh/Dedicated IP Address on IPBurger.
If your ISP/Country is known to ban/block VPN Protocols, such as China, Iran, etc, this software/protocol won't work. Please contact our support.
Connect to VPN with L2TP/IPSec
1. Get L2TP/IPSec Credentials for your IP Address
L2TP/IPSec uses L2TP/IPSec protocol. Find your L2TP/IPSec Credentials from your Service Page.
Login to your account, and find the IP address/Service you want to use.
On the service's page, click on the button Download VPN Credentials, and select L2TP/IPSec.
These are your VPN Credentials.
Click the account icon on the bottom left corner of the screen and click on the Settings icon as shown.
Under the Network options, click on Add Connection and then click on Add OpenVPN/L2TP.
In the dialog box that opens,
- Give a friendly Service name, like IPBurger.
- Set Provider Type as L2TP/IPSec + pre-shared key.
- Copy Server hostname (Server Address), PSK, Username and Password from your L2TP/IPSec Credentials.
- Leave other fields empty.
- Enable Save identity and password.
2. Connect to VPN
Recheck if all the details are filled up correctly and then click on Connect.
Now you are connected to IPBurger VPN.

Kill Switch blocks you from exposing your Real IP Address, if the VPN Connection ever drops.
We currently don't have a kill switch for ChromeOS.
