macOS - How To Use Multiple eBay/PayPal/Amazon accounts with multiple IPs
In this step-by-step guide we will discuss how to create a new user account in macOS and how to use multiple IPs on them. The steps are:
- Creating a new user account on macOS
- Configuring and using VPN on new user account.
1. Creating a new user account on macOS
Open the menu and click on 'System Preferences'.
On the preferences window, click on 'Users & Groups'
Click on the lock icon at the bttom to make changes.
Enter your password and click on 'Unlock'.
Click on '+' icon to create a new user account.
Fill up the details and click on 'Create User'.
So, now you have a new user account to setup another IP and manage a new eBay/PayPal/Amazon account. Let's do that!
2. Configuring and using VPN on new user account.
Before switching to another user account, always disconnect the IP. This is a crucial step, please do not skip this. Click on the connected IP to disconnect it.
Once done, verify that the IP is disconnected. The green icon should turn nomral to gray
Click on the menu and then click on 'Log Out'
Loginto the new user account created and open Viscosity there.
It should show up there on the top bar.
Download the profile for the new IP from IPBurger account and import it into the software. If you need a guide for the same, you can refer the second point "Downloading and setting up your IP Profile" here.
Once, the profile is imported, you will see the new IP. Click on it to connect.
Once connected, you can see the icons turning green.
Go to IPBurger.com and check your IP.
Disconnect the IP before logging out of the user account or shutting down.
