Here at IPBurger, we're always trying to improve our platform for a better customer experience.

This month we have automated IP changes (instead of waiting hours to change your IP address it takes just minutes after your payment) and we have streamlined reactivating IPs and reporting issues related to your service.

Just for a recap our old process for changing IPs was tedious and time-consuming.

Here is how we used to do that:

  1. Customer would request an IP change

  2. An IPBurger representative would respond to the ticket after generating an invoice for the one-time IP change fee.

  3. You would pay the invoice and confirm the payment to the IPBurger representative by responding to the ticket.

  4. An IPBurger representative would change the IP and would send a URL to download the new IP Profile.

Thus, it consumed a good amount of time in the ‘to and fro’ process. We knew that this hassle had to be dealt with to make it easy and swift for our customers. So, we came up with an automated IP change procedure. Let’s take a look at how this can be done.

Automated IP Change Procedure

In your client area, click on ‘Services’ button as shown below.

Now, select the service for which you need to change the IP.

Click on the ‘Change this IP’ link as shown below and this will take you to the addons page.

Ensure the IP at the bottom is the one that you want to change. Once done, click on the ‘Order Now’ button. This will redirect you to the cart page and then you can check out as usual.

Once, you pay the invoice; you will get an email with the instructions to use your new IP address.

What more?

Interface improvements

There are two new buttons in the client area.

1. 'Report an Issue'

2. 'Reactivate Now'

Whenever you face any difficulties or problems using your IP, please go to 'Services', select the IP you are having trouble with and then click on the 'Report an Issue' button as shown below. This will directly take you to the page to generate a ticket for that particular IP.

We listened to customer feedback on them being confused when the service was suspended. From now on, you will see this button as shown below. If your service is suspended due to overdue invoice, this button will redirect you to your Invoices and you can quickly pay them. If there is any other reason for the suspension, you will get redirected to the page to generate a ticket for that particular IP.

We are constantly trying to improve the system for our users. Please feel free to
connect with us, if you have any queries or suggestions to make the system better.
